Since the late 1990s, COLOR FILTER has released numerous works—mainly overseas—and earned recognition for their distinctive musical style. Now, answering the continued calls from international fans hoping for a comeback, the band returns with this long-awaited single. Their sound—an intoxicating blend of ambient, shoegaze, breakbeats, and techno—can be described as mellow psychedelia. Back then, they were a singular presence in Tokyo, quietly anticipating what is now widely known as “dream pop.”
