多分４周目。サザンゴシックの難解な代表作。僕は2019年、ミシシッピー川沿いをニューオーリンズからメンフィスまで車で北上。フォークナーを読むと、その時の暑い夏の熱風を思い出し、サザンソウル、デルタブルースの名曲が頭の中で流れ出します。 William Faulkner/The Sound and the Fury Probably my fourth time through. A landmark work of Southern Gothic. In 2019, I drove north along the Mississippi River from New Orleans to Memphis.When I read Faulkner, I remember the hot summer air from that trip. Southern soul and Delta blues classics start playing in my head. #williamfaulkner

かの 香織さん(@caoli_cano_official )とレコーディング。僕は本当に大ファンで、ご一緒できる日が来るなんて想像もしてなくて、別の世界線に迷い込んだような1日でした。😊 この曲のリリースに関しては後日、、 かのさんには、ソロ作に加え「COCU」名義の作品があり、アンビエントの超名作。リリース当時、僕のヘビーローテーションでした。残念ながら配信に乗ってないので、現在、なかなか聞く機会が限られてますが、「セッションファイルどこかあるかも」とのことなので、「見つけてください！」とお願いしました。 I had a recording session with Caori Cano. I’m such a huge fan of hers that I never imagined a day would come when we’d work together. It felt like I’d wandered into some alternate universe. 😀 More details about the release of this track will be shared later… In addition to her solo work, Caori also released music under the name "COCU" — a truly legendary ambient masterpiece. Back when it came out, I had it on heavy rotation. Unfortunately, it’s not available on streaming services now, so it's pretty hard to come by. But she mentioned, “I might still have the session files somewhere,” so I begged her, “Please find them!”
